Very nice for a quick lunch take away, lots of choice, daily fresh and homemade. Also for catering these guys are your go-to when you’re organizing something at work or with friends. Staff is helpful and kind.

Hidden gem! We finally ducked to the window to try out this neighbourhood sandwich shop and are kicking ourselves for waiting so long. This place has the best sandwiches I have had in Amsterdam. They are more like a NYC deli sandwich. We had a warm pastrami and a tuna melt on dark bread. Both were fresh, full of flavour, and I barely could finish the my sandwich. We will definitely be back again to see these charming people.

The best food in Amsterdam. Wish I could teleport all the sandwiches to Melbourne. I think I still have dreams about these sandwiches! So delish! If you are in Amsterdam, please try. They are fantastic and the staff are all incredible as well!

This is my favourite place in the world for lunch! The food here is excellent and delicious. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Make sure you visit this place if you're in Amsterdam. Make sure you get there early for a seat at this cosy place or be prepared to get your food to go, either way you won't be disappointed.

Absolutely the best sandwiches in all of Amsterdam (using great ingredients). Their carrot cake and cookies are scrumptious. Nice bonus: friendly staff who understand the importance of good sandwiches, salads, coffee, juices and snacks. FYI: Can get quite busy around lunch hours so be mentally prepared for a bit of a wait. More than worth it.

This is the best spot to have Sunday Brunch. And Monday Lunch and any time it is open. Legendary hospitality and straight up brilliant. Perfectly balanced dishes and great ingredients. Great coffee too

Wonderful little place in Amsterdam with both food and service that will go all the way to make a horrid week a fantastic one!Meals are appropriately sized, great in flavour and match with the overall style of the place. The service is all but something to complain about. As you may be able to tell, I was a fan the second I stepped through the door and you probably will be too!

The food arriving early and clearly labeled is very appreciated. A very friendly and helpful bunch indeed. Food is great, and desserts (dare I say...) are even better.

Very nice food! Healthy and fresh ingridients, delicious food and simple but yet still creative recipes. A great place to go for breakfast and/or lunch. I love the personal approach. Owners are always happy to chat with you, tell more about their food and drinks, give advice on what to choose. If you have allergies or personal wishes, they are happy to make exceptions on the standard menu for you. Great spacious and sunny terrace in the summer. A pity it is so small, so there is not always place to sit inside. Especially in the winter on the weekends it can be challenging to eat in. But still I love it for the high quality of food.

I came here on my first trip to Amsterdam in 2011, and have returned many times since, with a year at least in between each set of visits, to a very warm hello. It's almost like visiting an old relative. The owner is so nice and he knows how to make me a decent flat white. I'm so glad to surprise him again this July, 6 years later. Oh, and the sandwiches are great, too! And the pecan pie. And the apple, lime and ginger juice.

Really flavourful food served by genuinely friendly people. Great for a lunch outside or takeaway. Not cheap but it’s worth it. Even though the menu barely changes I come back because I know it’s good.

Incredible place,The service was impeccable. From the moment we walked in we were amazed with the decor and available selection of products. The quality of the food was only outdone by the quality of the service. The staff put on a performance that made the wait seem like it should have been paid for. The quiche was as delicious as it was beautiful. I highly recommend anything wrapped and baked in dough, as the meat pie was also of the upmost flavor. The sandwiches were also fantastic and a pleasure to watch being made. Not visiting this place is a mistake you do not want to make.

Perfect for the macho crowd . Food is not as good as it used to be. Loud like a thousand knives through your ears... non-apologetic and borderline offensive sarcasm when confronted with mistakes such as missing items or double charge.

Where to begin? Everywhere! This little gem is one of my favourite places to go when I want a nice sandwich (mouthwatering to be precise) or lunch or a little treat or just coffee or tea in a warm and ALWAYS friendly atmosphere. Sean and Clarence and their team are the living and loving proof that good service is totally possible in Amsterdam. The only bad thing about them happens every Monday, when they are closed. <3

I eat here almost every week and it is soooo good that I refuse to eat my lunch anywhere else unless it is necessary. They make everything with love. The first time that I tried their carrot cake I asked the guy who made it to marry me. Their tuna special is define, also their spicy salami. basically everything is soo go that it is every time that I go there a torture for my brain to pick what I want. Also they have the best chocolate chip cookies in the world and the best New York cheesecake.

This place is so good, service is great and the food was spot on! We will be back for more!

An absolute MUST when visiting Amsterdam. The choice of delicious, fresh savory and sweet dishes here is gorgeous. Not to mention the super friendly staff. It is quite small but during nice weather there is also limited outdoor seating. Well worth a visit - highly recommended!

I’m salivating just thinking about this place. I’ve been here many many times and have eaten various of their offerings and ALWAYS been completely satisfied and satiated. The staff and owner are super cool and accommodating. The location is small, so at lunch time you probably don’t have a good chance of finding a seat inside, but try for a seat on their patio, or just get the food to go - you won’t be sorry either way.
